| Just to let you all know... the site will get faster soonishly. I have ordered a cheapass PCI Express video card. That will complete the collection of necessities that comprise everything need to build a new box, since I just bought a RAID-compatible motherboard, an all-black case, a half-terabyte hard drive, a 2GB stick of DDR RAM, and a Core Duo. I used to come to g-c way back in the way back and now it's back and so am I! I am now married to a computer geek who looks more like a professional football player and we are monogamous. So yeah, I'm not looking for sex. Sorry! I am looking for people to talk to and even platonic activity partners in real life, though. I have three sons who are very spread out in age-- almost 14, 9, and almost 2.
I am a classically trained vocalist (dramatic mezzo-soprano ) who is interested in any professional, collaboration, or band opportunities. I attended TTU and majored in English with the intention of going into the editorial side of publishing. I have been acting for almost 30 years off and on, both in the theatre and on television.
I have often been told that I should move to Canada or Europe for my views and it doesn't bother me at all. I would be happy to move to a country where I think they govern better. However, no one is offering to pay my moving expenses! We have faced homelessness more than once and yet, I still contributed out of my weekly paychecks from my last job to a fund to help out employees facing a crisis situation. I may not have all the comforts that wealthier people have but I do have the comfort of knowing that I have remained a good person and can hold my head up high.
So, yeah...I'm your average, boring, old, anarchist? ...communist? maybe just liberal, or what-have-you-- mom living in a red state...or something. Hell if I know, really.
